Isn't eating the bible against the rules?

I think they're linking gay marriage with other heretical issues such as abortion and the morning after pill. Also, possibly to do with IVF for lesbians.

It's an attempt to sway general opinion their way by the doctor giving their "professional" opinion.

Generally, we have been conditioned to listen to people who we consider to be in elite 'educated' positions, without question, which is WRONG. It also seems to be general consensus that questioning these "educated" people is inappropriate because the person with the question feels like no mental 'match' to the doctor and fears either being made a fool of or being proven wrong. So mouths stay shut and status quo remains unchanged.

In other words, "If the doctor says it, it's credible."

...but that person is likely not even a real doctor anyway. Let's face the music, the 'doctor' image is a very powerful one, psychologically; fake doctors are used in advertising all the time.

Strangely, though, this doesn't hold for elected officials. We seem to prefer someone with whom we could have a pint down the pub over someone who clearly knows more than us on the relevant issues.

But people in the know in elected positions have a vested interest to haze or distort the truth to keep in their position.

Still no reason to trust some bugger down the pub though.

Because only cool people tell customers to fuck themselves, nothing unprofessional about that at all and we should all follow his example.

To be fair, this guy was a fucking asshole and he had it coming.

I'm not going to rant but why do people care about this kind of thing. I know this question has been asked numerous amounts of time. Their message is that marriage isn't going to have the same meaning it has if two of the same sex can get married.

Someone else's marriage shouldn't be affecting my own marriage or demean it somehow, I call that being unfaithful to the spouse.

How does that demean marriage? Marriage is about true love, besides marriage has already been 'demeaned' when you look at the divorce rate the way it is.
