I understand. My own mind has been simplifying itself lately. Due to the ever-changing nature of semantics and linguistics, I'm afraid that on the web the grammar and vocabulary is more descriptive than prescriptive, which unfortunately often leads to a change in the norm of grammar and semantics. Internet 'grammar' will eventually seep into the outside world like mud though a sock. Soon, the human race as a whole may say 'roflmao' as a substitute for the usual response for humour, laughter. We are, to use the technical term, 'totally screwed'.

It is kind of sad that people are now using internet language in everyday life. I've even heard some fourteen-year-old girls in my old school saying 'tbh', and it wasn't even in the right context! They said things like, 'Miss, are we going back to the hotel soon, tbh?'

I mean, come on, people. If you're going to use your internet slang, at least try to use them in a way that makes sense. Otherwise it's just doubly annoying. Ok, rant over.
