but why would they go backwards in technolnogy with another 2d game? 3D is fine they just need to make it better if they even make another game.

The 2D games are my favourites, beautiful(sp?) environments, graphics, and I love the native art, the PS1 games were pretty impressive, and I like them so much I got them for the PS and the PC, I was overjoyed when I got AO PC, it took me ages to get hold of it, MINE all MINE!!!

Most of the responses in this thread strike me as ironic since Lorne mentioned in one of his interviews, "Once people see how we handle it [3D games], I don't think anyone will say, 'Ya know, I really liked the old 2D style games better.'" Or something like that.
