Cyber-Slig, I'm not complaining. I posted some reasons why I disliked Warcraft. Its expensive, charges ten dollars a month when you get nothing tangible, and requires a really good computer to run it to its fullest. It also doesn't allow you to create your own missions, and it seems impersonal to me. Yet all you've done is trash traditional book-based gaming without knowing thing effing one about it. And yeah, I've played games like Diablo, Warcraft and Everquest, but they just don't do it for me.

Nope, it's not the life of any MMORPG. It's the life of SOME really bad MMORPGs. Eve Online being an example of a good one, doesn't work like that. You don't have levels, you don't have an endgame, you don't "win". And that's the kind of game that can truely call itself open-ended.

Hahaha! Are you not aware that WoW is one of the most notorious games for grind? Loads of people leave because of it.

Also, I've not even touched on the community. The forums and the servers are full of some of the biggest assholes I've ever come across. Sure there are a few nice people about but god did the bad ones put me off... not only because there were so many of them, but also because of the things they did.
WoW is game that makes it you dont need to grind to gain level, you can quest thats why its so great.

And if that community is bad, check out some free to play games online forums. Eg: www.gunbound.com

I've been trying to buy that for ages (my internet is too slow to download the 500mb game client). Is it really as good as it looks? I've been looking around the official site and some fan sites and it looks excellent. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone that actualy has it, so I havn't been able to get any opinons on it.

Im a level 12 Night Elf Hunter Called Elftondood i have a nightstalker pet, level 11 called Sabre. I am currently in Stormwind City and in the realm Silver Moon. My professions are Mining and Engineering (sp?)

Damnit, I said play on Earthern Ring, I guess I'll continue to be lonely :(

By the way, if you're from Europe, you can't play with people in America (i.e. Sligster), it will be possible in the future though, although I'm not sure that's a good thing..

I didnt know your character stayed in one realm only... Lol, Has anyone seen Nessy? Its a boss under the sea, When you the Deeprun Tram look to the left of the first tram you see in the underwater part, Its sometimes there. Its called nessy because it looks like the suposed loch ness monster :p
