A list of all the scavenger hunt items is a bit much. It tells you how many are in each area when you are in that area. That makes it a little easier. The first lungfish vault is through the tunnel of lasers. I believe the other one is only a little ways in front of the first prison. As for the milkman, make sure that used the first set of telephone wires as well as the second. The first leads to a tiny island with a slide. If you haven't done that one then it is probably what you are missing.

Thanks...and don't worry about the list. I'll figure it out. |
If you have a question about a specific one I might be able to help you.

Hmm. Is it possible to go back and continue playing the game after you beat it? I've completed the game and want to go back and collect some things I need to collect, but the only way to do it is to load a save game from before the part where you fight a certain person at the Asylum. So... can you continue the game after the credits, or wha?
Whoa, my post count is 1,111. Huzzah? |

If you mean the real world...no luck so far. |
I see. Curses.

THAT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!

Truly, the most perfect video game I have ever played: On the patented Nate-Omatic (TM) Game Scoring System, Psychonauts kicks arse in all major categories including graphics (especially for providing the best RT graphics I’ve ever seen in a game), design (Black Velvetopia had me drooling), a fantastic hero, great characters (including the supporting ones; I loved Mikhail!), voice acting, level design, FMVs, plot, having a twist that I totally didn’t expect (but really should have), humour and just basic kick-arsedness. I’m sure if I waited another ten minutes before sending this I’d think of another dozen or so things I loved about it. |
I KNOW! I just can't say enough about this game. Double Fine is my new Oddworld. I am going to give them all the support that I possibly can and cherish every game that they make. God, I love Tim.

Housekeeping note: this is what happens when you find a thread by searching for it. It predates the non-OW gaming forum so if a mod could punt this over there it would be great.

Okay, now that I've had a day or two to digest it, I have a few questions:
Do you get anything special if you collect all the figments? WTF is with the ending with Raz' father? Why did Raz think he had a problem with psychics? |
If you get all of the figments (and everything else) you will reach level 100 (or level 101 if you're really good). This gets you an extra movie. His dad would not allow him to use his psychic powers or to talk about them. He was trying to protect his son from the enemies that his family has.
p.s. to avoid confusion- the scenario I just described is not the bonus movie. You will have to find that out for yourself. |
When the hell is the sequel coming out, anyway?
Then again it was a total sleeper hit, so maybe there won't even be one. I loved everything about the game except for the final boss fight. It was way too easy. Edit: After reading through the Double Fine website for a few minutes, I was two seconds away from wetting myself. Not with semen, but urine! And not because I drank too much water, either. It was just that funny. |
Yeah. Schafer is a genius. There definitely will not be a sequal to Psychonauts, unfortunately. They are currently working on a new game, though. And I for one just can't wait.
|
Definately? Where do you get your confidence from?
I would have merely said 'probably'... |
Yeah? How about because Schafer said that they would DEFINITELY not make a sequel in an interview. Why not ask why I said that before being a little snotty shit next time.

Must have missed that interview. Did he say why? Was it just the lacklustre sales? |
