Fuzzle Guy 04-12-2005 11:03 AM

When I first started, it was my first FPS and foudn it incredibly difficult to control the crossbow and how it moved, but now on my thrid time round, I'm finding it easier

Oddish 04-12-2005 11:32 AM

Well I'm on second turn now, but I still finding hard to capture the bounties alive, I don't how you guys do it.

I have to admit I sometimes looked in the prima guide...
but at the end it's always the same :p

I cant find very much fun in playing it through again. I'm sure I could get Packrat alive this time, but after getting to Buzzarton, I got bored.

i agree there is not much that makes you want to play it too many times e.g a harder difficulty level

Nath 04-14-2005 12:53 PM

I only got a few of the bounties alive, Packrat being the hardest. But also the Gloctigi at the end I found really hard, and it took me a while to figure out how to bring down Sekto.

Flying Scrab 04-14-2005 02:23 PM

Yeah, I actually gave up on bringing Packrat in alive. It was insane! He rarely ever comes off his little stage, and in the time it takes him to get back up there, his stamina bar goes all the way back up... He's "the one that got away"....:fuzmad:

Kimon 04-14-2005 05:34 PM

A really simple solution for Packrat is to get him off the stage the first time you shut the sheilds down. Save right before you do it, then shut it down and shoot him off the stage with boombats. Then from there, I used Stunks, Boombats, and Thudslugs.

And I though it was a good challenge, but I didn't find any of the bosses to be difficult at all.

Hunk of Steef 04-14-2005 06:49 PM

Oh, I never thought of saving mid-battle. I am stupid.

duveaux 04-14-2005 11:21 PM

I liked replaying the game capturing all bosses alive (packrat too(!)) but after I reached the second half again it bored me, because you don't have anything to complete then

Nepharski 04-15-2005 08:17 PM

I would say the game was...moderate. The difficulty isn't the point, though. The question is, did I have fun? The answer...$%&@ YES!

I just beat it myself. I almost cried at the end (Can't say why, as this isn't the spoiler section). Excellent game.

Hunk of Steef 04-15-2005 08:57 PM

The first time around it was very good. Now I find myself wanting Doom3

The Slog 04-15-2005 11:49 PM

I think I should just say this. I'd think OSW would be a lot longer.

ConkerTribe 04-16-2005 09:13 AM

Who cares about difficulty? If it's too difficult, then I won't want to play it anymore. Moderately difficult is fine, since he gives you a challenge while still keeping the fun. Only a hardcore gamer wouldn't give up after 50 times (or if the game is really, really fun).

AWWW 04-17-2005 02:16 PM

The last battle took me a while to do.

Also the part where theres a timer and you have to run this really long path, I kept on making the wrong turn and falling over the edge.

I got all the bountys alive the first round ( I thought you would get something cool if you do ).

Yeah I found the game hard, but not very hard.

Oddish 04-18-2005 09:46 AM

*spoliers*

Battling those last gloktigis was the best for me, it was fightg 2 of them, they were so strong though.

Rabid Fuzzle 04-20-2005 06:50 AM

nah they are easy to cane up
