I note a suspicious pattern of bland, tepid posting for the sake of posting on that list.

StrangerEastwood 11-11-2011 09:24 PM

I'm in a bland, tepid mood. And yes, I shouldve included both Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust. Paul Dini as well, probably.

Manco 11-12-2011 02:13 PM

I finally sat down to watch Memento.

Well fuck. I did not expect the twist.

Every day?

StrangerEastwood 11-13-2011 11:59 PM

kind of. Kind of a shitty month, really. And yeah, Nolan loves him the twists. lol

MA 11-14-2011 09:31 AM

watched Premonition.

i thought it was unnecessarily fucking drawn out, and i could see the ending a mile off. but yeah, okay i suppose.

Dynamithix 11-14-2011 11:28 AM

So, uhh. I watched The Human Centipede and The Human Centipede 2.

Uhh.

Alright.

Sekto Springs 11-14-2011 12:28 PM

Showed Cube to some of my friends. They dug on it. Great film. Sequels not so much.

Mr. Bungle 11-14-2011 06:34 PM

Saw Iron Man 2. Great film. Improved on the original in almost every way, which was quite a feat. Warmachine is boss.

StrangerEastwood 11-15-2011 12:42 AM

Plus, mickey rourke whipping a car to pieces. what's not to love?

Dynamithix 11-15-2011 01:07 AM

Mickey Rourke's Russian accent.

Urgh. Did not like that film.

The scenes with RDJ being RDJ were pretty good, but they somehow made the character of Iron Man, and the activity of blowing shit up, boring.

StrangerEastwood 11-15-2011 01:43 AM

Like Michael bay, everything post-Armageddon.

Alright.

Back to back?

I didn't have the stomach to finish the first.

Dynamithix 11-15-2011 02:16 AM

Yeah, watched 'em both in a row. The first one was hilarious IMO, but the second one was just plain sick...

Everyone else I've spoken to says that, but I think the first one was -okay- and the second one was -good-.

Mr. Bungle 11-15-2011 01:21 PM

I thought Iron Man 2 had a more complex story and better character development than the first. However, the first one had Jeff Bridges. So there's that.

Havoc 11-15-2011 02:34 PM

Watching Lost, middle of season 3 right now. Goddamn, that story just goes deeper and deeper. Never watched a tv series where each and every episode creates more questions than answers.

Dynamithix 11-16-2011 01:24 AM

I thought that was the problem with Lost, I watched it when it started on TV (I was really young though, but anyways) and kept watching it 'till the second season and I really didn't want to watch it anymore just because of the fact that they kept adding new characters like every other episode, they kept making those stupid flashbacks for every character, the season finale(s) were really stupid and etc. I don't know, maybe it gets better in the last seasons...

It doesn't, the plot twists get increasingly dumber and the ending was a huge cop out and revealed nothing of value.

Watching through Season 1 of Weeds again,

For some strange reason, I seem to be enjoying it more that second time round watching it.

Yeah, I found that knowing what was coming made it seem a bit funnier. Apparently the newest season is amazing.

Actually I forgot nearly everything from it, so everything I'm watching so far is kind of a surprise but I am finding it so much better now :)

Only stuff I remembered was SURPRISE SURPRISE were the cool cars, like Conrad's Buick Regal or Nancy's Range Rover P38

Nate 11-18-2011 04:10 PM

Woo! Two and a half pages worth of posts moved to a new thread.

I really hate you guys.

MA 11-18-2011 05:23 PM

watched All The King's Men, based on fact. the ending almost broke my heart. David Jason, fucking great actor.

Dynamithix 11-22-2011 04:40 AM

A new picture of Bane. (Dark Knight Rises)

http://comingsoon.net/nextraimages/empirebatmandkr1.jpg

He looks alright. Not like a steroid beast he is usually described as, but not a completely skinny guy either.

Oh and I watched a horror movie called Pathology. It was really bad.

EDIT: If the picture doesn't pop up, you can see the picture(s) here

MeechMunchie 11-22-2011 08:15 AM

EDIT: Picture broke for me so I reposted. Working now.

Sekto Springs 11-22-2011 01:28 PM

There's a shit ton of super HD pictures of him out for weeks now, you just need to know where to look.

That Empire cover is pretty bad ass though.

The movie takes place eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, apparently. Bruce Wayne's getting old, and that's part of what makes Bane so formidable.

Daxter King 11-22-2011 04:22 PM

I've been watching The Walking Dead, every episode. The second season as a whole is fucking terrible. I mean fucking terrible, not even the biggest zombie addicts would likely find enjoyment from it, since it barely even has zombies at this point. The entire season thus far has avoided any real plot development since the characters have to stick around a farm and do fuck all, but look for a dead little girl. The entirety of one episode seemed to be The Tale of the time the characters try to get a zombie out of a well. Ill probably watch the last episode of the half-season, but I doubt I will watch it when it comes back. It had so much potential and season 1 wasn't near this bad.

Sekto Springs 11-22-2011 04:30 PM

^ This.

Every time I tune into the Walking Dead, the episode is usually about half over (I'm not actually following the series). I leave it on anyway because hey, zombies. Wrong. I have not seen a single zombie in what I've seen of season two thus far. They're not even appearing in the promos anymore.
