This 'announcement' is now almost a month late. As fans, it's our duty, our convention to get excited over every little thing that might lead to it actually happening, and be disappointed when it doesn't.

For some people who make games, release dates and deadlines are designed to indicate to fans when their game or product is coming out, or any other major developments. Obviously, JAW has uncovered a new definition of the phrases which I was not previously aware of.

That was my source, I can't remember where I found this, but this perhaps was the official unveiling of JAW working with OWI? I'm not sure. But in this interview, Stewart Gilray says that there's to be no Nintendo based game, and hinted that there wasn't going to be a release for the PS3 either.

I think this was the interview he claimed he was AbeMudokon?

Either way, I then tweeted the query a month later and the response was that the new [games] are for both PSN & XBLA.

Hope this sheds some light on the issue?

There are more gaming platforms in the world than just Nintendo/Xbox/PS3. PC, for instance.

That there are, but as the hosts played each console off, Gilray muttered yesses or nos as to whether they're going to be on each console.

We know it is digital distributed, and the first project will be around 3GB (http://www.formspring.me/stewartgilray) in size.
What I think is possible:
Xbox 360
PS3 is ruled out (shame), but it IS coming to PSN, so PSP is only left?
Nintendo is ruled out?
Iphone/Ipad, but 3gb looks alot for such a device to me. But then again, I know absolutely nothing about anything that starts with an I, so I could be wrong.
PC/MAC I guess for sure (seeing they also bring the entire series (oddbox) to PC, would be strange they don't do this with the new games)

Though you are right. It isn't official, but its closer to being official than not. That is, if we are taking Stewart Gilray's word that he is AbeMudokon, and not just playing around.

I guess I did rule out Mac, PC, PSP and iThings, although I thought that was a given more or less.

I'd quite like separate titles for PSP and other handheld devices. But I suppose that could be the 4 projects they're working on... different ports of the same game? Which would suck.

Curses. My internet download speed is ~55kb/s. That's ~15 hours.

Not to mention that I only get 7gb a month and I'm prone to going over that...
