@Varrok :tard:
Seriously though, I typed in Intercepted, Manco, and got this: RPVBI LZ ENRU ,RTNFFRZ LZ QAVS Which means, "ABOUT IN HEAD ,AVELLAN IN FORM", now, Avellan can mean having four, filbert like arms. So I mean, if that's intentional maybe someone in the game has four arms that looks like fruit bearing hazelnut trees. Whatever I'm getting, more often than not they're generic responses. |

Fuck sake you're boring, Varrok. Learn to laugh!

a) anything to do about Oddworld b) new users and I'm so bad that I call you out for acting like a prick for spamming and false-leading people who are genuinely interested in solving the ARG. |
Pot kettle black, huh?
Look, honestly right now to advance the ARG we need to work out what's going on in this morse code, so far no one has managed it. I think looking for anything else is moot unless it's a red flag. |
I'm looking at the intercepted.txt again, and if you read it in order, it says:
fineme, hear me, rescue me. And then it gave us the obvious .jpg, then the other one which leads us to the .mp3.. I think this next phase has two parts. At first I was skeptical that the 0451.jpg had anything of value, but looking over the way this .txt is worded, I think the audio and picture need to work in conjunction somehow. We have to find him and listen. Edit: Ahhhhhhhh, the sorce page has been altered! The massive space at the top has been removed! Panic. :

:
It's hard enough not to loose focus during an ARG hunt, we don't need any additional red herrings. |
Fine, I'd like to reiterate though, that it's fairly obvious what to look at to progress.

If there is something still hidden in 0451.jpg we need to find it. Nobody is having any luck deciphering lsot.mp3 so perhaps there’s a trick to it, and 0451.jpg holds the answer. :

It's curious that is says:
WISH YOU WERE HERE? ME FIND |
:

I find it quite peculiar that there are two instances of "WISH YOU WERE HERE?", I thought maybe moving one atop another might reveal something secret, but no luck so far.
|
I don't know if this means anything,
01:11, both channels -> . -.. (translated: ED) ME FIND In the picture, E and D are italiced which correlate to the morse code.. Edit: If you do ED in the website form, you get this. I'm convinced of the correlation. FIND ME, HEAR ME, SAVE ME |
Most likely coincidence.

No it's not random, I have the same result here

Hold on a second, remember earlier in the thread: :

I stand corrected.

It just happened again.
![]() Try reloading the page a few times with that paragraph in view, maybe it shows up randomly? :

Was it trying to get us to notice the significance of ED this entire time? And were we supposed to find the ED on that page, the 0451.jpg, or the morse code first?
Or maybe it doesn't matter. I'm convinced ED is a part of this somehow, could it lead us to anything, like the C19 lead us to the caesarian shift? |
:
|
I kept trying ED combinations on the form, and I got SAVE ME on its own once.. We want too, just tell us how ):
Edit: Here's a funny thought, what if his name is ED? When you say ED, he does ask us to save him. |
I think there is still something in the Mp3, because "he" still asks us to hear him when we send "ED" in the form. ED is probably just one part of the solution, maybe the other morse code can complete it.
|
That's what I figured, the morse code might be 'ED' (for sake of calling the operator something), trying to communicate with us.
|
Well there are at least 3 chunks of morse code in that file. One is “ED”, but the other two still need a conclusive answer.

Edit: I got SAVE ME again on the form. Maybe that's a hint in itself? I'll see if it fits anywhere. Most likely just grasping at straws. |
Where is the third bit of MC? I got 1:11 and 1:49?
1:11 do doo do do :ED 1:49 doo do :I? |
