Wrong place to advertise, Joshkrz wouldn't talk of such on your thread. Perhaps if you're serious about that stuff you should make your own thread, a 3D fan-game would surely attract interest from members of the FC, I know I'd have a lot of questions for you. ;)

UPDATE:
This game will come with an automatic updater that checks for updates of the game and presents you with a straight download button. This updater is started every time you load the game (but is optional to load) and gives you access to a number of options.

It also has a custom window skin that looks like a Vista window even on XP.

I think I have managed to get Flash working as well I hevent tested it yet.
Hopefuly updates coming soon...

I can't though, since I don't know how to program games and don't (currently) have any experience with 3d stuff

Trust me, I AM a 3D graphical artist and seriously, This sorta stuff won't be made in just a few years... And nobody would be willing to do 3D work without any form of pay....

Also, getting everyone else to do the work for you isn't gonna happen without some money going out to the people working on YOUR project...

A 3D oddworld game will be no where near as good as a 2D one.

I wan't to learn how to use 3DsMAX and Adobe Director, that would be great.

Just to let you know... If you make profit off a fan game, the actual game company would be able to sue you and right now in a financial crisis, Companies would be dieing to sue people.... So I wouldn't put a price on anything if I were you....

It was meant to come out on the 14th, but it dosent look that way, but like Carnix said, we are working on it.

I have learnt something about myself: I can't animate oddworld-like explosions, let alone at 40FPS. Seriously, started again for the 12th time in 2 days :fuzmad:

Yes 40fps is very high detail, but with lower frame rates it wil look like one of those crappy flash movies you see on cheap websites.

I planned to use renders like these in my own oddworld fan-game but I hadn't enaugh time to programm the engine to the complete stage, and abandoned the game in favor of railroad caternary model project.
If you give me the layouts of the levels and basic ideas I could do them in 3D.
But still I can't promise that I'd be very fast at work because I study to become a mathematician and really don't have much spare time.

I have seen them renders before, and I think there amazing, unfortunatly there is already someone working on backgrounds, but would it be possible to create sprites such as UXB's secorbs ect, or create 3D fmv clips? If so your definatly in.

Yes, I've already posted these here. In fact when I was going to make a fan-game I had an idea of Abe infiltrating a powerplant. I've done a load of these backgrounds back then but never finished the engine. It was too glitchy and faulty. Still I have an idea to take that back to life in summer. I can create stuff like UXB's etc.
By the way.. do you code in Cpp or C or have some experience with DirectDraw?

No sorry, I'm a graphics and web deisgner so I only know how to use stuff like the Adobe Suite. I was thinking of learning C++ though but currently I have WAY too much stuff to do.

Can you animate 3D stuff? Because if I can have 3D FMV's in this game that would be so great.
