The Story of my Bed.I love my bed. In the day it gives a lovely warm feeling to my room. At night it keeps me lovely and warm and comfy. It has provided me with many fun nights and, hopefully, many fun nights soon to come. \\ Now what I do hate about my bed is that fucking big green "Freda the Frog says Well done! You were good in X-Ray" sticker in the left corner of the bed. It was great when I was six or seven years of age. Now it’s just an eyesore that reminds me of a horrible trip to the hospital when I was younger. Truth be told it's not even my sticker. It's my brothers from when he broke his arm when he was five. It would seem we have swapped beds at some point in the last nine years. That's probably because we have. Next to my bed lies my bedside table, which has the most wonderful crap inside it, from a Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver toy, to a box of strepsils that is God knows how old, and a LEGO Orient Express instruction booklet for building something I probably never got round to making. The table is probably the only DIY job I’ve ever done in my life. I built the table myself using Superglue. Being the Panzy I am all the screws and nails that came with it frightened me, so I just stuck it together using Superglue and it’s lasted me over a year now. If you ever buy a flat pack anything, just use Superglue. It saves time and is just as efficient. On top of it is my lamp, which is fairly new, as my last one, which was a touch lamp, much cooler than the one I have now, went on fire last month when I turned it on in the morning. That woke me up and got me prepared for the day. Next to that is my radio from the mid 80’s which I wake up to every weekday morning at 7:13 and listen to the Chris Moyles show for about an hour and ten minutes before getting up and getting ready for school. When I get home from school I tend to listen to Radio One whenever I am in my room. It would also be set for 10am on a Saturday morning on Radio two to listen to Jonathan Ross, but I haven't done that for a while and won't be doing it for some time yet either. And finally on my bedside table is a book. You'll be glad to know it changes from time to time, depending on what book I am reading. I had intended on finishing this blog (in fact, this was the only thing I intended to put in it) with some dirty comment to Wil about my bed, as he frequently tells me on webcam to get naked and to lie down on it, so just for you hun, I took of a photograph of just that: Thanks for giving up (and wasting) your time to read my blog entry. It's much more interesting than my last one (Which, because no one seemed to notice, included 6 or 7 Kaiser Chief songs in it, hence it not making much sense.) Or perhaps not. Goodnight everyone, and enjoy the rest of 2008! |
