My newspaper just informed me that some danish guy will be host for the danish version of "Hell's Kitchen"... I think this is very important news!

I think this is very unimportant, for I don't watch much Danish TV, but I do imagine that a danish guy in Hell's Kitchen would make it even more hellish than it needs to be. But if you watch that show then I suppose it's important.

Uh.... This blog was very, very sarcastic.

I was having WoF's Orwell/Huxley diagram in mind when I posted this.. You know... The bit about relevant information being drowned in a sea of irrelevant info.

Are Danish people known for good cookery? Other than little cakes, of course.

Uh... Dunno... I think some danish cook won some global award in some branch of cooking. Not sure though.

Danish food in general is rather boring. Usually they make a big slab of meat, potatoes and something like gravy...

The salads are usually boring... Just salad with som fattening, thick dressing bought from the store.

Also they eat danish Meatballs/faggots/whatever they are called.

But dunno... I never found danish food interesting

Most of the time, when we have cooking, the only thing I look forward to, is the little cakes. Everything else isn't really anything new, but rather a "repackaging" of meat or potatoes.

Actually, my mom has a recipe for a type of little cakes with rum in it. They taste wonderful. I kind of wonder if T-Nex can guess what they are?

There are a few danish cooking prgrams, but I don't watch them, except for the unavoidable commercials. According to them, it's twists on other foods to disguise them. That was my interpertation.
