I was an accident.

I just found out I was an accident!

That's one phone call I wish I didn't overhear.

It's not uncommon.

Neither is erroneous paternity.

My parents weren't married, and I was raised exclusively by my mom.

I kinda figured it out on my own.

I think Bullet Magnet feels that women are whores.

I mean, it happens. But I wouldn't call it common.

Actually, I think people are whores. But it's a bit difficult for a guy to deceive his wife over the true maternity of their child.

I can without doubt say I was planned, along with my brother and sister. I don't know which is better, as it meant that my parents had already mapped out my future in their minds.

A future I wasn't to fulfill

2 to 4 percent isn't common. It sounds about right.

I never said it was common. But it's still 1 out of ~30.

Never thought to ask.

Makes sense if I wasn't.

My dad made a habit of sleeping with married women in his earlier years. My mum was married to someone else before she was married to my dad (my last name is actually in part the family name of my mum's first husband).

All kinds of HMMMMM.

But I can’t feel upset or weirded out by the thought I wasn’t planned. It just… sounds like any other part of life. Don’t know why the conception part of it should be any more planned (in terms of how I should feel about it; the preparedness of the parents is another matter. Mine did fine).

Unfortunately I'm certainly my father's son, and I know for a fact I was an accident.

Well I was the result of meticulous planning and forethought, and look what happened.

Intentional conception isn't everything.

I know I was planned because I've been told that my conception was a month later than they had wanted because they first needed to apply for medical insurance.

Although it all came out the same in the end when I was born a month premature. So there are two years and nine months (minus four days) between me and my sister and two years and nine months (minus one day) between her and our brother.

FG: How the hell did you overhear that? Why would anyone be talking about your conception so many years later?
