Sooo ... Today is my last day at home

I've taken up the challenge of going on an internship for 4 months..... In Romania.

I'll be doing all sorts of fun communications and programming stuff. I'll be amongst friends too.

The company I'm gonna be in consists of several guys that I've known ever since my dad worked there a few years back. He was the Project Manage boss thingy.

Anyway. I'll be going on Sunday. From Denmark to Budapest, Hungary where I'll be meeting..... Dripik
He offered me to stay a night,which was really sweet of him ^^ Thank you Dripik!
So... I'll be hanging out with him, and I'll finally be able to compensate for me missing Oddtour 4a

The next day I'll be taking the train to Cluj, which is the city im gonna live in. A friggin 7 hour train ride x_x Lol. I'm so buying a 1st class ticket. Not gonna deal with anything less, since I hear that Romanian trains are horrible as they are.

So yeea... That's a little news about me. Im quite excited. I think I need to experience new stuff, since I've been stuck in a rut lately. So yea. Happy happy

I don't know if it's gonna have a big impact on my participation on the forums, cos I imagine the friend I'll be staying with has internet. Also, at work, they most likely have internet too. Would be pretty insane if they didn't

The thing that will probably keep me away will that im gonna be busy and be taking up way more activities than I have been.

Too bad though, cos I was just starting to bond with my new found friends in DK. But any real friend will still be there after 4 months, so time will tell(literally) if they were worth it or not

Yea. That's it Hope you all had/have a nice summer break.


Also... Im planning on going to london in one of the coming weeks/months that I'm in Romania as tickets are cheap from there if anyone is interested. And I'll have an economic surplus.

Hey, I hope you have a fantastic time living in a new place and learning something that will benefit you later on in life, what type of programming are you learning ant what for? Also, when you're in London give me a buzz if you like. ^_^

Sounds awesome! I hope you have a great time and learn loads! How did things go with Robert? Did you call him by his username at the dinner table?

Also, it'd be awesome to meet up again when you're in London. Let us know when you have things planned out. I was thinking of going to visit my sister soon so it could be handy

Ok finally arrived at my grandmas

Things with Dripik went fine XD. His parents were super hospitable and sweet to me. Gave me some burny alcohol which I dont know the english name of.

And I actually made a conscious effort not to call him Dripik out of respect. I was considering it just to grief him. Nyahaha... Actually I may have called him dripik. I dont remember.
Anyway he showed me around the city. It was quite nice, and the sky was amazingly pretty so I took some pics.

And I think we had fun though Meeting dripik was awsome though I think we had fun X)

The train rides werent as bad as I feared them to be. I got a first class ticket for my first train ride of 2 hours... Played Reccetear on my laptop for the entire time. Then I changed in Debrecen to my grandmas city, which was 6 hours.
It was a cute train. It had those little cubicles just like in that eurotrip movie with the "scuze mi" guy.

Some of the time I had it for myself then this old guy and his... i think granddaughter came in and talked to me about stuff. He

Are you still under the effects of said alcohol? Seem more hyper than usual.

Any way I'm glad you had a good time and good luck with the rest of the trip/ internship.

This is not even close to hyperness. And the said alcohol was a local type of pomace brandy, a bit like grappa. Not very strong, but has a peculiar "afterburn" feel to it.

I can't really recall you ever calling me by username, but then again, neither by my proper name. :P I guess it wasn't really necessary to use either, seeing that my parents don't speak English at all, so if you said something in English, it was bound to be addressed to me.

Good to hear you made it safely. I was a bit worried about the train change, there was a rather short time gap between the two. Buying international train tickets is also a bit more of a hassle than I expected, so that didn't help my usually stoical calm manner either. But all ended well, apparently, so I'm not entirely disappointed in our train network.
