Props for actually bringing justice for this women, it's a far to rare a thing down there. But then they go ahead with a hideously degenerate punishment. We can clearly see that an eye for an eye, literally, makes the world blind. Out of this ordeal we have produced two blind people, as opposed to the one we had before.

*sigh*

These people don't realise that 'Eye for an eye' was never meant to be taken literally. It just means that you're meant to compensate people in an appropriate manner for what you did to them.

well, that's true Nate, but in the Middle Eastern provinces I think the women are due a little something.

I suppose the difference is that I was talking about civil compensation whereas in this case it's criminal punishment. And, frankly, if this stops other men from doing anything similar, good.
