Become addicted to a TV show or anime and spend your nights untill 5am watching said show. Not only will this kill those long nights, it also ensures you miss most of the dreaded day.

Practice your instrument (you play saxophone, right?), start reading a novel, do something creative, rent some movies you've always wnated to see, sample a bunch of different kinds of music you're not very familiar with. Just do something to push yourself beyond the boundaries of your being.

Jordan, if you play sax, learn the Night Court theme on it. It's very short, but it's a fun one to play on the sax. It's very easy, but it sounds great. Trust me, I've spent hours of my life playing that one just for the sheer fun of it.
