This is just an announcement of what's going on in my life right now.
At this moment I'm away from home in a city which is about two hours from my home town. I'm up here for a week (from last Friday to next Friday) working at a Christian-run Holiday Centre for kids aged 8 to 13. They hold camps for the kids, split into two age groups, which run for either a weekend or about five days; since it's summer they're having a series of longer camps and right now it's the second day of the first camp. I work cleaning, helping run activities and stuff.
I'm here for the first of two 'trial weeks' prior to me coming here for a gap year in September; that is a year out of education or paid work. After doing one year of University it sort of occurred to me that I needed to spend a year doing something else, learning some skills and such.
Basically what this means is that from September I'll have less time online, but I'll still be around here of course.
I was worried about it at first, thinking it'd be hard work, but I've actually really been enjoying it, so no worries.
And that's sort of my life plans for the year.
