How old is she? There's a certain point of teenager's life when he just wants to talk to people and get some attention, and is completely unaware, that he's becoming an irritating turd.

I was one when I was younger, but it was even before OWF. If somebody told me at that time, I'd spend my time rethinking my behavior.

Your situation is worse, it's a woman. She might take it too seriously. You'll have to find a balance between not sugar coating it and not making her feel like you're trying to insult her.

"Ruining" her really isn't the way to do it. You should tell her that you have no interest in speaking with her whatsoever, and will not respond to her.

Also, stop sitting next to her.

I wish I could "not sit" next to her, but I get stuck in the same seat everytime.

Get in with her, be her friend, learn about her; what makes her tick. Then you can melt her from the inside out, make her wish she was never born, and she won't suspect a thing.
It'll take time and patience though. Is some dumb girl really worth the effort?

Oh shit Varrok, the OWF SJW lynch mob is already on its way. I'd get the fuck out if I were you, while you still can!

I just can't with you guys anymore holy shit. You're talking, quite literally, how to ruin someone's life, for the sake of... fun? Vex at least has somewhat of a motive, albeit a shitty one, nothing is really worth ruining someone's life, especially something small and pathetic as this.

So nep, you're making fun of manco for calling out your shittiness, and then blame him of immorality? What in the fuck are you even trying to say?

You guys are like the old uncle at a family reunion who spouts old world ideals and everyone attempts to avoid him but he'll find someway to talk to you anyway.

Aye, do you think I was serious about the "ruin her" comment? Also, I'm fairly sure she's not flirting with me. The thought of it horrifies me. The idea of her wanting a relationship WITH ME makes me lurch back in disgust. We're only 16. At this age, one should focus on academic excellence. After all, after high school, social status is not of importance. The reason I say this: It seems people only seek romantic relationships, not because they want companionship, but because society pressures adolescents to look for one.

You're a young dude at a confusing time in your life. Just chill out. This is something you could ignore, or even better address with a nice civil conversation. Sit her down and say "yo this has been kind of weird. Sorry if this has been frustrating for you, but I just don't want to talk to you. Hahaha." Have a laugh about the situation. Just relax and have a grand old time.

School can be a lot of fun socially, even if it has it's harsher moments. If people actually try to engage with you, my advice is always to make some kind of effort.

I have fun. But I've never found parties, or anything of the sort entertaining. I'd much rather have a meaningful conversation with someone. Now, I do not focus purely on school. Let me explain. Things have always been easy for me, in school. I never studied, never worried about tests or anything of the sort. I was almost perfect. My teachers praised me for being such a good student. When I moved onto to middle school, things got slighty harder. It was clear that I couldn't just completely ignore studying for upcoming tests.

The homework required slightly more effort, and because I was a lazy ass know-it-all, I just stopped doing most of it. As a result, my grades dropped. This trend continued until high school. I realized the goal I was trying to achieve would be unrealistic. Getting the proper education to become an astrophysicist required me to pick up my grades. Of course, as I mentioned, a lot of things are easy for me.

Essentially, I'm still lazy as fuck, but I try slightly harder in school. As a direct result of this, my grades have finally recovered. I've always hated the idea of school. However, I love learning. My curiosity levels have always been high. The course restrictions and the fact that I can't set up an independent study bothers me. Give me a language course, I'll fail it. Give me a history course I'll fail it. Give me a mathematics or science (except for psychology and biology) course, I'll get a great mark.

If I could, I would skip straight to physics. I have fulfilled the mathematics requirement for it. Sadly, at my grade, you're either forced to take chemistry, or earth science. Not that chemistry is bad, or anything, it's just not my cup of tea.

Yup, that sounds like flirting with me. Probably 80% of the people who've ever flirted with me inspired a similar reaction.

You may be right, but most people your age wouldn't agree. That's no reason to assume she's not flirting with you.

Your story is pretty generic, happens to tons of other people. One could (and should) blame early education system for not providing enough challenge to students who score better than the rest so they don't end up lazy.

If you're good at maths and physics, that means you're a pretty intelligent person. Intelligence is basically an ability to quickly "connect the dots" in life and take a correct course of action according to them. It seems like the dots are "lots of learning", "good grades", "becoming a scientist". I think you need to fulfil both the first two to achieve the third one. That means swallowing that hard pill of studying subjects you don't really care much about and which will probably never be of much use to you.

Chemistry is cool, just like maths. Physics? Never had a good teacher.

jesus, just chill out or tell a teacher or something. your want to 'ruin her' is just as petty as her gossip.

i agree with Phylum and Nate. honestly, i reckon she was flirting with you and now probably beginning to resent you for not talking back. if you want to concentrate on your schooling then that's fine, just ignore her or tell a teacher, no need to make her cry. there's no excuse for cruelty, man.

joke or not, this blog still basically boils down to ideas on getting his own back on a girl he sits next to in class because she talks to him. that in itself is a joke.

then again maybe i'm being grouchy. everyone has the right to complain about shit. just ignore me.

Getting his own back? I think he just wants her not to bother him when he's trying to learn, which is hard in itself because it's the laziest phase of teenagerhood
