Red Dwarf X launched tonight

Just watched the first episode of the 10th season of Red Dwarf. And, in short, I'd say that the series is still quite good for how long is gone on.

The characters manage to stay as they were rather well, without any waivering in characterisation (Except for The Cat. I'd say, metaphorically, his cup's half-full) and the storyline is rather well done, instead of the offsetting of drama against comedy in the later seasons. Whether it holds up in the later episodes is yet to be seen, but if the first episode is anything to go by, then this should be a rather good season.

	I'd convinced myself that it would be completely rubbish because Back to Earth was, but it's sounding like it might actually okay. Also, surely it's not necessary to link to Red Dwarf's Wikipedia article?

	WoF will become a mod when he learns how to do it ~~spitefully~~ right. Bugger the 'Two blogs on the front page' guideline, we've got a perfectly good thread for this sort of thing.

	I watched Red Dwarf X last night and was pleasantly surprised - I mean the jokes were funny enough for me to laugh at them. Yay. It's still not quite as good as the older series but at least it's worth watching unlike Back to Earth, which sucked.

	He's a shmeeeeeeee. He's a shmeeeeeeeee HEEEEEEEEEEEAD. You goit! Love this show. I disagree with DH on this, I felt like this was just like the old series and it's great to have them back on TV. With over a million viewers!
