Now what in the hell is a blog post doing here with a title like that? Well it's all about a pleasant surprise I had last night.
Actually no it was not cherry pie.
A friend of mine and his boyfriend have just gotten a house and moved into together, so last night I went over and stayed the night.
We had a nice time sat on the roof drinking beers and smoking cigars, my friend then said that he just bought Monsters VS Aliens on Blu Ray and suggested we watch it. I'd never seen the film before, without going in depth, basically, I really enjoyed it and it turned out to be a lot more funnier than I thought it would be.
He doesn't actually have a blu ray player but he has a PS3, when he booted it up, I saw this animated Oddworld wallpaper, it had concept art scrolling across and I was amazed by this as I didn't even know it existed, it was probably announced somewhere that this sort of Oddworld stuff was coming out for the PS3 but because I don't have a PS3 I probably ignored it.
So that's when I found out the pair of them were massive Oddworld fans and SW:HD continued it's download as we watched Monsters VS Aliens.
I don't know why, I just get this real happy feeling when I find out fellow friends are also big Oddworld fans, mainly because years ago I found it hard to find anybody that heard of Oddworld but these days more people I talk to seem to have heard of it at the very minimum.
So of course I did mention OWF and they said they had taken a browse, I did of course recommend they join, so you may see them as members soon, hopefully
