I could post a manga about a girl who sits at home on her computer watching anime and has no friends, but I fear it might hit too close to home.

Nah. the author did another story about a guy who loves lesbians and a girl who loves gays falling down a flight of stairs together and switching bodies, through which they achieve happiness.

Reminds me of one I read about a guy whose girlfriend was terrified of intimate contact with men, due to childhood abuse; so he had a sex change to make her more comfortable. She found out beforehand, and, not being prepared to let him go through with it alone, secretly arranged to become a man. Long story short, due to the local donorship they end up swapping genitals.

Through this they achieve happiness. It was actually quite sweet.

I like it.
