Evening, cocks and cockettes. I have two jobs. Two. Jobs. It's like a cruise missile fucking a playboy bunny up in here. On fire. And the fire is on fire.
Long story long, I've been hopelessly waiting for a call back from the dingy, shit-encrusted call centre I worked at last year. You know, the one that I started smoking to cope working at and that caused me to get all depressed. But I know I'm not staying for the duration this time and I have my other job to fall back on. Additionally, the month long training process is probably the easiest (if most boring) thing you could ever do.
Second job is good old factory work, except it's somewhere new and that always holds my attention for at least a month. My temp recruiter gave me and 'Donny' the rundown today. Donny rocks, he was wearing a tight nylon mesh that didn't stifle his mantits one bit and didn't even look ashamed. Christmas is on the way and my list is growing as fast as my previously flaccid ego. As soon as I move out I'm adopting a pet. Unless I'm simply too utterly busy it'll be a dog.
I went to see my Father's side of the family for the first time in about 10 years on saturday. I seem to be destined to have a beer gut in my middle age. My uncles were all happy to see us and various cousins and suchlike all brought their families to marvel at how tall I was. I saw my niece, who was 6 the last time I saw her. She's 13 now, nice kid. Quiet though.
Anyway, I'm off to bed because my big glasses are weighing my ears down and hurting my brain. I'll leave you with this:
I love Peter Gabriel's live performances. He's a great showman.
I couldn't believe this the first time I saw it.

It's great that you're working and that you at least have something to fall back on if a couple of things don't work out. I don't know that well how the employment situation is over in Canada, but if it's anywhere near as bad as it is in England right now, it's hard going, so it's great if you can keep work.
