I rant, you listen. M'kay.

1) Thru is not a word. Anyone who uses it should be shot.
2) Websites asking for your age are retarded. Anyone with the slightest fragment of intelligence will know that if they're under a certain age some things will be restricted, so they'll lie.
3) Sites that ask for your 'language' are also retarded. Australia or Great Britain aren't languages, stop being such a politically correct sissy and ask for my nationality.
4) Any native English speaker should know how to use there/their/they're and your/you're. It's that not hard.
5) Overuse of smilies/use of smilies as full stops (that's periods for you Americans) is, once again, retarded.
6) Using 'fail' and 'phail' to describe things one does not like. Using 'fail' once in a blue moon is fine, anything else is fucking stupid. I'm looking at you Zerox.
7) Spammy blogs are not cool. This may not be the most relevant blog but at least it's consistent to my hate.
8) Not using the spell check is the real reason people die, misspellings on a grand scale have killed people in the past. If you don't have a spell check on your browser then you seriously need to go get one that does, that or have dead people on your conscious
9) Alcar, fix this forum already. You need colons in the blog section, 'Join Date May 2005' is not cool. While you're at it you need to fix the gender icons as well.

This is just the beginning of things in the World I could complain about. Fin.

I hate the word epic. I hate it so much. I hate it when people say it to mean things are good. I hate it when music is described in such a way. I hate epic. also don't like fail.

there, theres my rant.

though 'thru' is technically valid when talking about the use of MIDI instruments, as they commonly have a MIDI-THRU plug.

(2) is so that the website owner is absolved of any guilt in the event of underaged persons accessing the site. "But", they can say, "he said he was 25!", thus laying all blame on the accessor rather than the providor.

Disagree with 1) in as much as it is very useful shorthand. Disagree with 6) and Leto, epic fails combine two of the greatest in-vogue words of our time. With regard to 8), I’d like to add that over-rely-ation of spell checkers can lead to completely nonsensical words thanks to things like the Cupertino effect. And partially disagree with 9). Colons are needed, gender icons aren't.
