Learning the guitar

Today I offically took my first steps into learning to play the (acoustic) guitar. Once I've mastered (or at least become decent with) the acoustic guitar I intend to learn to play the bass. Then I'll be able to join a band and make music. Huzzah for future plans.

I’ve been considering learning to play guitar. I think it would improve my air guitar. Then again, perhaps I should just return to the trombone. I haven’t so much as taken it from its case in over a year. It must feel really unloved.

once you get confident at the guitar, learn this. it's actually not as hard as it looks, and people will think you are jesus of the guitar

+you don't need to become a master of the acoustic if you want to play bass in a band, if it's just a jam band or whatever, bass is the easiest instrument. unless its a techmetal jamband

The acoustic guitar is my step-up instrument, I'll be learning to read music and write music as I learn the guitar. Once I've got these skills then I'll move unto the bass guitar.
