I clearly remember when I was around 4 or something, one of my most desirable things on my Christmas wish list was a BIG TRUCK.

if you fancy getting a forklift license, go for it. its easier than you might imagine. i got my rough terrain telescopic forklift truck license so i could move bales at the farm. i had 2 days training and then the test on the third day, both practical and theory. he asked me about 10 questions about the forklift, then pointed to random controls on the dashboard and asked what they were. then we did the practical test which was reversing up and down a hill with a heavy load, stacking pallets and shit like that. i didn't get all of the theory right, but i finished the practical without doing a single thing wrong.

its a good thing to have under your belt, and personally i don't think you'd have much difficulty with it. the problem with my license is that i can only operate rough terrain forklifts, which is quite restricted unless you're thinking of going into construction work or farming, whereas a factory forklift or side loader gives you more possibilities.

artic tractors are even easier to pass. drive to work in one of those fuckers.

The only obstacle there might be that I only just got my G1 (tier 1) Driver's License. It also depends on how much it'll cost for the training itself.

Regardless, I'm going to pursue it. For the little boy who once wanted to be a truck.

i see what you mean. when i said "personally i don't think you'd have much difficulty with it" i didn't mean to sound presumptuous or anything. i was just thinking that you may find it easier than i did seeing as you can make home made bombs have a healthy interest in the stuff.
