I've done it! I've bought my KITT

Fucking PERFECT car, it's a 1982, it's fuel injected, it has the correct 15" turbine rims, and the PMD power seats AND automatic transmission. These suckers are hard to find so I wasn't about to let it slip through my fingers.

Now comes the part where I plan a roadtrip to Phoenix to haul it back.

Didn't believe I'd do it, did you?

	i'm glad. this will be an enjoyable project to observe. and that car looks sweet. i enjoy the older models a hell of a lot more than modern ones.

This is the first car I've ever owned that was newer than 1960. It's going to be nice to get out of that rut at any rate.

First I'm going to concentrate on the body because I'll be able to drive it around while I do the bodywork/paint. Interior comes second, because if I'm tearing the seats out of it (which I'll have to, KITT has beige interior, not black) I don't want to be driving around sitting on a milk crate.
