Quartic news polarization

The good news: I have discovered that my mum's spare bedroom is small enough for me to use my laptop while it's connected to the mains and the internet. Wheee!

The bad news: I discovered this while desperately finding things to distract me from my mum's sex moans a couple of rooms over.

The fucked up news: There's every possibility that the mortgage company won't transfer the mortgage to me, meaning I won't be able to put the house up for rent. I which case I'll have to sell the house to pay the masses of debt and unpaid taxes, and then I won't have anywhere to keep anything at all and the cats who've lived there 12 years will have to be relocated.

The shit news: Resit exam timetables have finally been published, and I have about a week to revise enough material to constitute a quarter of a year's work. I have extenuating circumstances, but I don't think that means automatic pass. Failure would probably mean an end to my degree.

On the plus side, I have this handy blog to vent and rant on.

The emergent news: All this waiting around with music in my ears for a "quieter" start to the morning has left me really rather desperately needing a crap. But ooops! Guess who's in there. Thank fuck I knocked. I said I'd wait. Then he starts taking a shower! Waaa!

There are plants, but they come under the heading of my mum's garden.

Today I filled in the inheritance tax form (entirely guessed the value of all assets) and made some headway in clearing the house of valuables. Also tried putting some netting down on the lawn to stop the cat crapping on it. But we had no netting, so we strategically balanced a ladder on bricks.

No, it does not make sense.
