I was shitting myself before my first lesson, certain I'd do awful. The fact it was sprung on me by surprise the same morning didnt help.

After that first lesson I loved driving, and I cannot believe I used to find certain things hard.

You got up to second but couldn't go further? Once you've mastered one gear transition, what's the problem with the latter ones?



I did driving lessons with a professional teacher. He got me on the highway on the first day. Though the fact that we were in his teaching car with the dual-pedals might have had something to do with that.

That, and I'm a pansy and haven't gotten use to how sensitive the gas pedal is.
