I have 8 pages of Character Descriptions, Setting outlines and Robotic Anatomy comparisons scattered around, and I finally have a grip on where I can (or want) go with 'This Story has a Robot!'. I've averted a lot of cliches that might water down the plot and expanded a little on several of the settings.


But the protagonist doesn't have a name.

So, I'm seeking out suggestions. Anagrams or (subtle) references to prominent members of the scientific community would be appreciated.



Also, I just noticed that my Blog picture is a man smoking, I've had it for several months now. How do you like them apples?

Fun! Umm, I made a robot character a while back which my friend named Miles O' Cable. Maybe Open Hammer in reference to Oppenheimer. SOrry if they're not up your ally. I post anymore I think of.

I'd have to scan them, lots of unnecessary diagrams.

Open Hammer might be what I'm looking for, maybe Oppin Halmar.

Lots of the names are pretty much made up words; One of the supporting characters eventually just ended up as 'App' because it's the shortened form for pretty much everything he is.

What can I say? I just like the name Martin McShamrock. Every story I wrote as a teenager always had a character with that name.

Martin McShamrock can be gag character, if you like. The story's going to take on a slightly lighter tone later on, and in a somewhat justified manner.
