Have you been following Gamefaqs' Best.Game.Ever. polls?

I have.

I cannot believe the last 4 games in the final.

Take a look

Lets see...2 Zelda games and 2 Final Fantasy games in the final 4.

Anyone else see the stupidity of that voting?

Those 4 have beaten all Mario, Sonic and Metal Gear Solid games.

Need I rant more?

To be fair, they are good games too. Final Fantasy isn't exactly my cup of tea, but I'll admit, it's good for killing some time.

I know Daxter, but it is the collective opinion of about nearly 100,000 people and it makes me sad that the contenders for the BEST GAME EVAR!1! are all Japanese RPGs...from 2 series of games.

Now if it had say...1 Final Fantasy, 1 Zelda and 2 other RPGs then I wouldn't be ranting

Actually, it is an RPG/adventure title. But there isn't that much of an RPG element in there, apart from characters calling Link "Sam" or whatever your name you entered all the time.

This wouldn't bother me if it wasn't Final Fantasy 10 and 7. Those games are incredibly poor compared to their immediate predecessors.

I agree with you on X, but my most beloved Final Fantasy title swings between VI and VII dependent on my mood.
