How excited are you about the possibility of Oddworld news during E3 2009?

I am very excited about E3 2009. A new Oddworld game was announced a year ago, so there will have to be some news on that. Or Wage Wars at least. This is 2009. The year Wage Wars was supposed to come out. If they can't give us Wage Wars, they should at least give us some news, maybe a gameplay footage. Oh, and I blogged this, because I wouldn't want it to get stuck between Oddworld Discussion, Non-Oddworld Gaming, and Necrum Burial Grounds.

Stop being so pessimistic! Before May 2008, I bet you would say there wouldn't be an announcement about a new Oddworld game. But there was an announcement.

This time last year production hadn't started on Citizen Siege. Seeing as that's going to take years (even if they have started by now, which may be doubtful seeing as they haven't announced anything about it), it's unlikely that they will provide more details about the game just yet.

Nate, I dont think he is referring to Citizen Siege, but the other Oddworld games that were confirmed to be in development by Will Wright. Not that it matters, as Kastere is correct.

Nothing to do with Will Wright. Everything to do with Jeff Braun, who used to work with Will Wright. And we are yet to have confirmation that Jeff is working on a game set on Oddworld rather than a game for Oddworld Inhabitants.

Yeah, it seems I was mistaken, however, it is an Oddworld game in development, not just a game for OI. Right here.

There is nothing in that article that proves he's talking about Oddworld-the-universe and not Oddworld-the-company.
