So I went to go get my physical to make sure I was still fit enough to play baseball for my highschool. I didn't really expect anything, and I was perfectly healthy. But when I showed the doctor somes scars on my back that I've had since I could ever remember, he thought for a minute and then came back with a sheet of paper with some symptoms on it.
He then asked me to do all kinds of things, like touch my toes so he could check my backbone, and to see if I could wrap my hand around my wrist enough to touch fingers (I could), and other things. It turns out that the scars on my back were stretching scars, which had formed since I had grown fast enough during puberty to stretch the skin.
It turns out I qualify for enough of the symptoms that I'm going to have a heart stress test in a couple weeks to see if I have the cardio symptoms. Then it's off to the eye doctor to see if I have the ocular symptoms. Doc says he dosen't think I have MS, although he just wants to be safe, since not knowing that my aorta could explode while still in my chest in a couple years would be a bad thing.
So today was intresting.
