This is hard mode. The bats are invisible. You need surround sound to track them.

Although that is a bat symbol, I would not say bats are confirmed for Abe HD and I doubt they'll be in it as Lorne once said that he'd 'Never put bats in another game ever. They were the worst idea ever.'

I could be wrong, of course, I'm just going with what Lorne said.

That looks amazing! If anyone watched my LP. You'll know how much I hated the spiky balls.

I can't really see them being too hard anymore though thanks to Quicksave and 3D models.

The only thing I don't like about the screenshot is the weird green lighting near the bottom of the walkways. It makes it look really "funhousey".

How did the Mudokons even make them balls? I've never thought about it before but it'd be pretty difficult to make a perfect sphere out of rock with primitive tools, let alone stick wood through them.

Also, I can imagine certain parts of the game, including this area to be really difficult without the grid system.
