Why did you choose your username?

Pretty self explanatory. Just explain how you came up with your username, and why you chose it for OWF.

My username is pretty much a retarded-sounding jumble of usernames i've used before. My first e-mail was Da_Moosh@Yahoo. The 'da' part came in because I really wanted my e-mail to be 'The Moosh', but it was already taken, so I used 'da' instead. I know. I'm a genius. Actually I was ten at the time so you can't blame me for thinking it sounded cool.
Anyway that was the e-mail I used for this account, so I used 'da' instead of 'the' again because I though it would make me unique.

I added 'outlaw' to the end because I had a SW obsession at the time.

EDIT: Oh wait, it has been done before. Well, the one I saw was six years old, plenty of people have joined since then.
And i'm particularly interested to see why Meech added a buhjillion numbers to the end of his name.

I believe I don't really need to explain. I was a fan of Gen. Dripik in my AE times. Removed the capital 'D' to make it a bit more original (or it was already taken, can't remember). It's starting to sound lame after all these years, but a change would just confuse everyone. Well, those who see me being active, at least. At other places, I'm usually called OldNile, which sounds better, despite the fact that it's an even older name I use.

I chose my name because it's the name of my (at the time) favourite Oddworld fan-character. I was going to use the handle 'Evil-spark-dragon', which is my DevniantART username, but I wanted something that was a bit more Oddworld-ish-sounding.
Of course now it's kinda weird whenever I wish to RP with Marvak, everyone thinks I'm RPing as myself instead of my character, which kinda sucks. =P

My username was made completely spontaneously. I wanted a name followed by ‘the’ followed by an Oddworld species, and I wanted it to alliterate. I was into Meetles at the time, so Max the Meetle was born. When OWF moved to vBulletin, I industrialized into Max the Mug (after considering Vince the Vykker).

... Why did I choose my username? No idea. It was the second thing I thought of. the first one was a different one I use for almost everything else to keep things simple. It didn't seem to fit the bill as well as Oddey. Meh...

I have had this name since 2002 when C&C Renegade hit the shelfs. Those who played the game will no doubt remember the main character was called Nick 'Havoc' Parker. I thought the nickname was cool so I stole it and used it .

Quite interesting...
I chose Mudling because when I came I was facisnated by Mudokons, I thought mudling tided into the mystical aspect of oddworld, as since I was young at the time, I thouht that adding ing to the end of mud made sence, and sounded unique, and I thought cool at the time.
Altough I have no idea why I chose for a lower case m, I kinda wish I had used a higher case m, so it would be Mudling, owell.

Eighth grade was kind of my shit year in high school, and I was still feeling emo when I joined. I thought "used" hit the spot quite nicely and I added a little smiley for the irony.

My original forum name was nate_dog_woof, simply because I really couldn't think of anything better when I joined up. A few months earlier one of my friends started calling me "Nate-Dog" and it soon caught on amongst my youth group... for about two weeks. After that it died down. A month or two later I needed to sign up for a yahoo groups account in relation to the youth group and I couldn't think of anything better than 'nate_dog' but that was already taken so I settled for 'nate_dog_woof'. Very soon after that I joined OWF and it was the first thing I could think of.

Last year I shortened it to 'Nate'. I originally wanted to change it to 'Thorn', which is actually a nickname that I'm occassionally called, but I thought it would be a bit too confusing. Most people here called me Nate anyway so it wasn't such a big jump.

Mine used to be Jordan_Boi. A while back, when I was thinking of usernames, my sister chose this one for me. I've used it for a lot of things, but eventually, I started getting bored and thought it was a chavvy name, so I had it changed to Jordan, cuz that's who I am.

I chose my username for several reasons:
1. I was drunk
2. I was thinking about Abraham Lincoln because of my 'drunkenness' (hence the 'Abe' part - the fact that Abe is also an Oddworld character is a very, very odd coincidence).
3. My cousin was watching Goldfinger (hence the 'Oddjob' part).

I've had a lot of usernames but this pretty much sums it up:
My very first username was Spiret because I was like 8 at the time so I thought it sounded cool (plus I couldn't spell) which quickly became True_Spiret because Spiret always seemed to be in use (turns out spiret is french or something).
But then I turned 11 and realized how lame and unoriginal Spiret was so I came up with Carnicide (mixing genocide with carnage - a mass of uncontrollable death). Carnicide was original but it only took me a month to realize it also sounded lame so I substituted 'cide' for 'X' and was left with CARNIX! Yay!

Unfortunately since then Carnix has became popular and widely used so I've been using HollowCarnix for everything else and as to shorten it people often call me Hollow so...

Yeah, I realize I should really stick to one name but ahh well. Maybe sometime I'll bother to ask for a username change to HollowCarnix, matters little to me right now though.

I put Odd because I knew I'd be at an Oddworld forum and because I love the games so much. And Youko because it was one of my favorite anime character's names. So OddYouko was born and now that's who I am everywhere I go!

I chose Laser because...back in two thousand and two I first started taking interest in the internet and joined my first ever forum called Ghostmaster.net (a forum for the game called Ghostmaster BTW) and so I thought up the name because it sounded cool

Well when I originally joined the forums my name was 'Mudos' just because I was so damn creative. After I had joined I never really did much of anything so it kinda fadded away into the depths of my mind.

Then I started talking to Alector on AIM and she convinced me to start going back to the forums and at this time I was already making my new oddworld site 'Oddsville' (which I thought was alittle more creative), and sience I couldn't remember my old password I just decided to create one that would match my site and thus I did. I started getting into the forums alot and just kept it...I think it suits me.

I use my nickname Schischnetta often as a username, it's a mix of the bosnian word for bat (Šišmiš) and my real name, (I like the night more than the day!)
But I wanted something else for this forum and so I choosed scipionyx, cuz it's the name of one of my favorite dinosaurs. I also created a character for my Oddworld fanfic by mixing it with several oddworld species and dinosaurs like scipionyx. And it's easy for me to remember xD.
yeah and uhm.. I dunno, I simply like that name thats all. ^^

My Email Address is master_slig, and even when I was 12 I knew that would seem a bit too much. Not that it mattered, because I didn't know how to fucking register.

Anyway, I came up with the name while reading Eragon, although the original idea for it was pretty far from 'dick armed superhero'.

My very first nickname would have to be lewbini, because it takes the first part of my name, lewis, and then I put in the bini bit because I thought it was funny at the time, which was when I was about 8-10.
My next name was lewnog, I have no idea why I chose eggnog, I've never had it, and it's not even big here, but it was a random word that came into my mind, like bini, and amerca has something to do with both of them, I don't know why.
Know it's Mudzr, because Mudling was taken in a sight I was signing up for, and Mudzr sounded less oddworldy and childish than Mudling, and it had a better ring to it, it also sounds more like other things like mud, dirt, muck etc. or even pokemon, and realy I find the name suits for most things I sign up for, which is everything nowadays.
