I know ... there aren't many FF fans on this forum. But it was released in the US today, and well I guess I just kind of had to create the topic. So I wondered if anyone was interested in it and/or are going to be getting it.
I haven't got it yet, because it's still a week away from release in Australia. Although I have the Japanese version and think it's awesome! A lot of people are saying that the English voices are meh though.

I already saw the movie, and it was friggin' awesome.
Saw it before its release date, too.
I dunno how my anime meet got their hands on it...
But the guy that turns in to Sephiroth, I love 'im, and Reno, and the Bulky silver-haired dude.
I loved that story, the ending got me in the heart.
and to OANST, Iz sorry for being a Fu cktart. I'm kinda new at seeing stuff before everyone else does. I just saw Harry Potter 4 yesterday. to point out how slow I is to pop culture.

Well if you think that you are slow on Pop Culture, Abeguy, I'm still haven't seen the 2nd Harry Potter Movie. I always mean to hire it on DVD, but there is something about watching 3 hour kid’s movie that puts me off.

I didn't like Final Fantasy 7 as much as 9, 10, 10-2, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts 2 but I'll still buy Advent Children whenever it's not sold out anymore (It's sold out almost everywhere!) and when I have the money.
You liked X2? Were you really, really high when you played it?
The story got good about half way through the game plus I loved that battle system.
The whole reason I started playing RPG's was because I fell in love with the story for X (And Kingdom Hearts because I was playing both of them around the same time) So I played X-2 a little while after and all the things that everyone found annyoing didn't bug me (I didn't say I liked them) but the good things about the game made me like but I can't say X-2 is one of my all time favorite games cause it didn't live up to anything exept for the battle system.
I didn't like FF7 because the graphics realllllly turned me off even for PlayStation game they stunk atleast to me and the story wasn't really interesting to me. (But the weapon bosses rocked and bahumut rocked too but I prefer him the most in 9)
Wait, that's the entire compilation. *cough* ... there's 3 more titles coming up [game wise], not to mention a strongly rumored remake of FFVII. Yes, we love SE and their cashing in. Keeps me busy. LOL

If there is a remake I might be able to get into it more this time around.
Just saw it. I liked it well enough for the most part. There were certain parts of it that sucked dick though IMO, like when the keep tossing up Cloud in the air so he can go destroy the Behemoth (or Chimera?). In my personal opinion, it was ind of like your mainstream anime only with unbelivably good graphics.
But like fax said, it didn't really answer any questions, or bring up any new ones for that matter.
