Hmm, do you think this new "Hooded Guy" is another person like "Masky", working for slenderman or trying to find him? Someone suggested it was Alex gone to the dark side, but I don't think Alex would submit that easily.

Also, while I'm thinking about it, Why do you think they wear the masks anyway? Is there something wrong with their face? Skin sensitive to sunlight? What do you guys think?

I've heard other stories that feature entities that are like Slenderman. Do you think it's a different folktale, or maybe another sighting, like when two people see bigfoot and report it as something else?

Edit: The Marble Hornets guys have said in their blog that things are going to start moving very quickly in the next few weeks, and that there will be a pay off to sticking with the slow pace so far this season.

totheark's videos have certainly been getting angrier as the series goes on, and we're rapidly catching up to the present through the video backlog, so hopefully things do pick up soon.

I mean, the Operator's shown up about twice, and Tim about the same? Oh, and let's not forget the huge amount of plot threads still hanging - Jessica? Brian? Why's Tim crazy? Where'd the Operator come from? Is Alex good or bad?

Don't get me wrong, I love the series, but they've really got their work cut out for them in ending the series.

I forgot there was a brian. Tim's mind probably snapped because of Slenderman, I'm guessing that alex is doing more harm than good (from what I've seen), and who really cares about jessica? Besides the fact that she's had her mind wiped too, her charector is largely unimportant.

How did Tim first get involved? We can see in Entry 21(?) that he was sick quite early on, but why? Did he come into contact first? What's with the mask? Is he working with the Operator or is he a separate entity?
Alex is pretty unfathomable so far, but as of the latest entry I think he may be a good guy - his tapes were in the safe in Jay's hotel, and the fact that he went looking for Jay when he went into the forest makes me think he doesn't want Jay dead/gone.
Jessica is important - not only was she at the same hotel as Jay, she was also suffering the same symptoms as him. The question is, why? How is she involved? How long has she been involved, and how deeply? Does she know Alex, or is she completely unrelated to any other characters - and if so, how did she come into contact with Jay? And why did she disappear?

I'm sure they have had something in mind for her for quite some time. Their plot is quite a well thought-out one, and they wouldn't leave details like that out for the whole series. I can guarantee you we will at least hear about Jessica at least once more before the season ends.
