Mass Effect 1 had an incredibly poor opening that told you stuff instead of showing you. Oh hey, here's a planet, here's some guy who dies, then bam! you're in the citadel and you're now super agent guy. It was way too fast a transition.

Then, thread your missions with incredibly boring wandering around in the ridiculous gravity-defying buggy, a shitty particle-effects nightmare of a shooter, and then finish up with the most exciting sequence of the game happening outside the window while you shoot a guy on a surfboard.

Fucking gay.

But what's the fun of watching a show where all the protagonists are like invincible? I don't think I've ever seen a Gundam get destroyed, yeah that's real realistic.

Not to mention the fact that it's kind of hard identify with characters that look like ten year olds with huge purple eyes. "War drama" lulz.

I've tried for years to get into KOTOR but I never got passed that last guy in the arena (can't remember anything about it). I just hated the gameplay, it reminded me so much of WOW and FFXII, hate that shit besides it's not even in HD so like what's the point??

I downloaded I Wanna Be The Guy earlier today, although I'm starting to wonder what possessed me to do it in the first place. I still haven't figured out how to get past the spiky area beyond the moving spiked walls in the opening level... (I refuse to use a walkthrough, as I'm in a bit of a stubborn mood tonight. XD)

It helps if you go up from the first screen and do the easiest section first.

Usually, about half of the protagonist cast in a Gundam show die. It depends of the show, of course. Concerning main characters, one has died outright, one was level brain-damaged, one maimed, and one was absorbed by an alien ai thingy.

Actually, most of them have smaller eyes then you're thinking. the majority colour is brown. Also they come in several age groups, not ten year olds.

I didn't say it was shit I just said i didn't like it, it's probably a great game once you get your lightsaber. I just figured if I don't like the gameplay there's no point in going on, but I'm sure plenty of people are into that sort of gameplay.

I usually like RPGs, except JRPGs, fuck that shit just not with my dick.

God, shut up. Mass Effect is a critically and commercially successful franchise that 99% of people agree is pretty okay. Just because you have some stupid liberal hard-on for disliking it based on some minor qualms you pulled out of your ass "Waaah! The opening went too fast!" "Boo-save the trees-hoo, the ending wasn't to my satisfaction!" does not mean that you are right. I don't even like Mass Effect that much and can see how little water your arguments hold. I mean, what possible fucking thought flickered across your brain that made you think you are in any way right in this matter. You are an incorrect minority.
