Not sure if this thread has been done before, but here it goes.
Do you have any bad, strange, annoying, etc habits?
Have you ever quit any habits?

One of my bad habits would be procrastinating.

Laziness. I don't know if that's a habit or just a a poor trait that needs changing. I believe it stems from my slow metabolism, and how I'm always feeling fatigued. When the time comes to get off my arse and do something, I tend to cut corners or go with whatever option means the least effort. This applies not only to physical tasks, but mental ones as well, as my mind is just as tired as the rest of me.

Procrastination is indeed a big one for me as well and, paired with the laziness, can cause alot of problems.

I rub my eyebrows, click my fingers to the point of self harm and beyond, and rub my hands together.

I wouldn't call those bad habits as much as I'd call them annoying ticks, Joe.
If that's what we're talking about; I grind my teeth, pick at the skin around my nails, and have restless legs.

Also, I'm a chronic masturbator. But who here isn't?

I have restless legs as well. I used to talk to myself when i was younger for quite some time, but stopped almost instantly when somebody pointed out.
Some times i do it, but not as often.

For most of my childhood, many people (parents included) thought I might have onset schizophrenia because I would run around my yard acting out things in my head complete with sound effects.

I grew out of it for the most part.

Ha, procrastination is/was a really major bad habit of mine. I've managed to quell its manifestations in practical life, but I'm sure it's still in my subconscious somewhere.

I am also unbelievably careless about my surroundings. I'll have all kinds of shit just piled on top of my computer desk, and it doesn't bother me at all, as long as I can see the screen.
I run my fingers through my hair constantly (since it is constantly falling in my face), drum my fingers very quickly to imagined power metal or something similar, and yes, I've been known at times to talk to myself.

There, now you have all the dirt.

Oh man, I do the same thing, but after a time it does bother me. When I finally clean it, I'm overly cautious in preventing it from happening again. So much in fact that I feel guilty just setting down my coffee mug anywhere in the immediate vicinity of my desk.

Laziness, daydreaming, bend my fingers back which cause my knucles to crack (double jointed) and hold/rub my own hands when I walk without coat pockets.

I talk to myself a lot, but I don't think it's bad. On the contrary, I think it helps.

Most of the time, the worst habit I have is my lack of dedication. I'll start something and never really finish it. I'm very good at working, but not very dedicated to finishing things. Either I'm lazy, or simply want to do something else.

I did this when I was a young nipper as well. Because I didn't share my friends' interest in sport, I often had to make my own fun, and I found my imagination particularly exciting.

I, like many other people who have contributed to this thread, have always been a procrastinator. It makes me anxious if something needs doing, but I often can't be arsed, and have difficulty motivating myself. Even when I was doing my degrees, I needed a great kick up the backside to get it into gear.

I often tell the same stories to the same people. This is because I forget who I have told and who I haven't. I feel like a complete boring twat after I am told that they have heard it.
