And as for my n00b outburst it was mostly because Fasimile seems to think all the new people are extremly sensitive, so I was being sarcastic about it.....

Ah. Well, Fax is right. I mean... you say one thing even vaguely argumentive to some of the younger and newer members and they automatically think it counts as flaming.

Anyway... Oh! Oh! I have a good moment to mention. Remember that time that a few members from here made a multi-account joke and posted all kinds of really, really blatantly stupid things? And then when all was revealed, everyone was like "Hehe! Good one guys! I'm so glad that that was a joke. The thought that someone so retarded actually existed really scared me!"

Anyone else remember that? Man, that was a good time and so, so funny! Hahaha..haha... ha... ha? Wait, no one else remembers that? Oh... I guess it was only a dream.

I never was upset with the Wired thing. When I thought Wired was a new member I found the account annoying, but then when the truth was revealed to me, I was confused and a little disappointed in the mods once I found out more, but at the same time I realised how gullible I'd been.
And Zeiko, I too agree. It was such a shame Grid never finished his fic, I loved it. I think Grid's now banned for some reason, or at least that's what SeaRex said when I asked him about Grid's 'Last Login Date' (It's given as 1st January 1976). I'm surprised you know so much about the forum history already. You must have done a lot of archive reading before joining. Kinda like I did.

One of my other favorite posts that I made was in a GTA thread. Wired bitched at Luke in three posts or so to give reasons for not liking the game. Then thanked Luke when reasons were given and said something as plain as "Thank you, Lucas. But I disagree, the game is pretty good." I couldn't believe no one called out Wired's painfully obvious hypocrisy!

Hey, wouldn't it be funny if a member or two had tried/considered to get Alcar out of power over the Wired thing? I mean, that would have been absolutely hilarious! Har har har! Just imagine the havoc that would have wreaked! Surely that would never happen though... I mean, two members trying to overthrow someone for a joke they had nothing to do with? What would be tnext?

Yea that would be so utter hilarious. I mean come one, who would do that? Why would someone do that? It was only a joke, just a joke. Nothing more then that. And in the end you guys have been so honest to tell us all about it, but hey you were planning on that all along right, so no sweat. Thank God we're blessed with such an honest moderation team that always sees it's mistakes. Just think what would happen if you guys wern't that honest, like, for all we know you could be talking about all us forum members right now somewhere. But luckily your all not like that.

Well... Yes. We do happen to talk about OWF sometimes. It's only natural for us to vent about certain happenings here and sometimes even about certain members because we're all from here. And you really can't justify accusing us of being terrible, terrible people for that because ANYONE who talks to anyone else here, whether it's through PMs or on an instant messenger has at some point gossiped about this place.

Social groups tend to gossip, and there's nothing horribly wrong with that. No one's plotting against anyone else when it's just on the gossiping/venting level.

And like Rich said, it's not at all what our place is about. It just happens sometimes.

You had to come back and add a little jab at me, didn't you? Of course, that was despite the fact that I actually do my duty as a mod; Hell, I've been mediating most of these little outbursts, and I even created a new rule thread in EL for the sole purpose of rectifying any mistakes. But do I feel that there are any mistakes that need to be rectified? Fuck no. I've been sitting behind this thin veil of rational diplomacy for the sole reason that I am a mod, and have responsibilities to uphold. If I were a regular member, I wouldn't have been nearly so understanding about how everyone was handling the situation.

And don't you dare accuse me of not caring about this place, you total bastard. I may not be happy with the current state of affairs or activity levels around here, but I wouldn't have been an active member here for almost five years if I didn't care about it.

By the way, the little half-assed Coup D'etat that you and T-nex attempted leaves you with absolutely no room to complain about people talking behind the backs of others. Practical joke vs. attempted treachery. Which one is the real betrayal?

Hey this isn't just about who betrayed who. We betrayed each other, but one was because of the other. Thats the way it is. I decided to step up about that whole affair because after what I read on those two boards, I was under the serious impression that no-one gave a damn about this place anymore. Since most big shots that run this place were part of the entire Wired thing, and are still part of that little group, you can't blame me for not trusting any of you guys after all the shit I read in there. I did what I did for the sake of this forum, because at the time it looked to me all this was was one big play ground for hobo's army of doom. If it's not, and I'm mistaking, then I suggest you prove to me and everyone else that I f*cked up. But untill then, I expect that you and everyone else who was/is involved in this to at least understand my reaction to it.
I did what I did because I didn't want this forum to die out, and also a little bit because I needed to get some 'revenge', if you could call it that. And before you say I'm taking this all way to serious, I don't think any other member you talked about in there would take it any less serious.

Gossiping by itself is fine. It happens everywhere, and yea it's a nice place to vent some steam. But if I have to read what certain realy people think about me, by 'infiltrating' their secret hideout, that pisses me off bigtime. And it would piss you off bigtime as well. It would prolly piss everyone on this forum off bigtime. So before you go post a link to this post in that hideout of yours and want to make fun at it, I suggest you think about that and try to oversee the consequences of your actions.
