Idea Daily Deception food for thought

I was reading the old Daily Deceptions yesterday and I found a few interesting quotes that made no sense at the time but kinda do now (some of them at least)

December 03 - "Think Hats For Spring" - if you look at the accompanying picture there are items of clothing from a few of O4's characters, including Stranger's hat and boot.

November 02 - "Is there or is there not a Mrs Stitches?" - now this could be either a hint or a red herring.

October 02 - "Demand for Weird & Ridiculous rises!" - both 'weird' and 'ridiculous' have a similar meaning to 'strange' (as in 'Stranger') which, as I mentioned in another thread, may be an adjective as well as a name/title. It's also significant in that all three words have a similar meaning to 'ODD'

October 02 again - "Is Theroy a new character or just speculation?" - same as Mrs Stitches.

what do you think?

Most of these have already been pointed out and discussed, but they are good observations nonetheless.

4) October 02 again - "Is Theroy a new character or just speculation?" - same as Mrs Stitches.

what do you think?
1) I noticed that when I first read it, so?
2) There are no female mudokons except queens, I don't think it means anything
3) it's reffering to this old topic:

4) it was also reffering to an old topic:

2) I was rather thinking Mrs Stitches was a hicken - which do seem to have females
3&4) You mean OWI were taking a misspelling from the forums and turning into a joke? *no respect!*

2) Stitches is Abe, also known as StichedLips, I doubt he has something to do with a female Clakkerz

3&4) bah, it's funny, and proof they are actually reading the forums

Yeah, another such thing was "Elum: I have powers?" In retrospect, they were funny, but at the time I got quite cheesed. It's not so much the silliness of the whole enterprise: I can handle that. It's the stuff that just doesn't fit into Oddworld - Oddfest, for instance, was a great laugh, one of my favourite articles from the Daily Deceptions Online series, but the Muds holding a mosh concert? No... The guff Alf comes up with (although he's been, thankfully, tame on this for the last few months) was bad enough.

Still, Oddworld.com updates have been on top form for several months running, now. Can't wait 'til new Universe and Game updates are made.

I wouldn't mind having some Daily Deceptions again... especially if it could feature some OW4 info

True, but the DD is more attractive and has pichures!

Ethier one is good, but for now i would pefer AIA, coz of it's OW4 info.

You can't compare AIA and DD. AIA is real and informative. DD is just funny. AIA is set on planet earth. DD comes from Mudos.
