It seems like Leto wasn't satisfied with his recent posts in the Sex Toys thread; I have just deleted a blog containing some of the most sickening content I've ever seen. Needless to say, he has now been banned. By standard forum rules it is a week-long ban, but I will be discussing with other mods whether to extend this to a permaban, given his recent behaviour.

I don't know how many people viewed that blog. I can only apologise that it took me as long as it did to delete it. I have already sent PMs to the everyone who commented; with the exception of those calling for the blog to be deleted, everyone else should consider themselves lucky that I didn't infract them as well. Consider yourselves all on very thin ice, mods included.

In any case, I didn't start this thread to pay out on anyone. I just feel that it needs to be pointed out publically that despite the lighthearted tone this forum takes to innuendo and sexual discussion, we still have standards to maintain. For one thing, there are a significant number of underage members who visit and post regularly. Even most of our older members would find it confronting - if not sickening - to come across such things in our forums.

From now on, I want every member to remember this, and think in future about what is appropriate and what isn't when posting.

It is a sad day today on the Oddworld forums. It seems a coup has happened and Leto has been knocked off his status of Member.
Now...it takes a lot to get this dragon angry...but this...this has enraged me to no end. Leto has done nothing wrong to deserve such treatment from what I have seen. All he has done is to ensure that the forums remain a place for good honest people to discuss Fucking and other things. But...it seems an infiltraitor of evil has corrupted a once good Admin by the name of Alcar...poisoned his mind with so-called dreams of glory. And it seems another member has fallen to the evil ones ways...Josh...and these three together have ousted Leto from his rightful place.
I see nothing but bad tidings as a result of this...I see the forums turning into haven for spammers and flamers. The good name of Oddworld Forums has been tainted with this act...can it become pure again I do not know.

Speak out my fellow forumers...let your voices be heard on this issue!

But, life goes on. Leto may be upset, but the forums hardly consumed his life, as they did to so many people here. In fact, he has moved on already. The spirit of these forums is now in a different place. The Glass Dildo, to be precise. Yes, Leto has created a new board for those who wish the forums to continue as they were. It is not trolling-centered, but is a friendly (sexier) place without the mistrust and recrimination that characterise the Oddworld Forums at the moment. It is to here that I and several others have retreated. We feel safer there.

To those who stay here, I respect your decision. There are many of you who are still fans of OANST and DI, and have little interest in sucking other cocks. That is your decision. There are some who support the removal of Leto. If you have looked at what has been said, and decided that their penis is bigger, then I respect your decisions as well.

But I would hope that there would be many here who didn't simply come here to discuss nothing of value, but came here as a brief escape from heterosexuality, to discuss whatever they liked in a non-threatening environment. Even if you remain at these forums as well, The Glass Dildo is for you. For all of you. Enjoy it.

Further discussion between Nate and I has prompted me to take action regarding a staff member I won't mention. Given the nature of the content of the offending blog comment following Leto's, we both feel it was taken to a level well above what we consider fair leniency towards abuse of the rules.

This staff member won't be banned outright, but their modship has been revoked henceforth and issued with an infraction.

This is final, and there is to be no discussion concerning this matter.

He was pretty funny, so I'm sad that he posted porn and had to be temporarily banned. He will be missed.
