Vista compatibility with AE and AO

I am thinking of buying AE and possibly AO again, but I have a vista computer. Will it work if I played it on that computer?
If it's neccary I have accessability to a XP through my brother and school computer, but that's about it.
I just want to make sure before I buy the game.

I have Windows Vista and it works for me. Though for some reason when I start it up sometimes theres no sound... but most of the time it works with sound.

I have got Windows Vista, I downloaded AO and it worked in my PC. But I don't know why the graphic wasn't good, perhaps because it was a downloaded version. Anyway it worked well, without errors.

No. I wouldn't want to say it, but... I downloaded it by eMule

So it wasn't good. I downloaded another AO with a mixture of American and Italian games: the language was Italian, but the effects, sound and noises of the American game!!!

Basically my browser or whatever randomly refreshes when using and therefore, becuase of the searches 30 second rule or whatever, it doesn't work, altough it may be fixed by now.

Yeah. I think you will not find errors. If my downloaded version worked well, your original game will be best.
Just a clarification: I am not so good at English, so I cudn't translate a message that my computer showed me when I closed AO (my PC is Windows Vista). I don't remember well, but there were in the message about these words: "wrong mode" and others codes and strange numbers, but the PC didn't stop. And then, when I restart AO, it was normal. I hope you will not find this message for security, and if you will find it: I don't know what is it
