Fable Fucking Eye Eye

It's pretty good. When I first played it, I wasn't too keen on it's camera system or how you interact with people/things now (pressing A on many things doesn't fucking do much), and how the characters don't seem to be brimming as much with character as much as the first Fable, but combat is heaps of fun, and so is working surprisingly.

Quite good, got the limited edition even though I only preordered the normal verions too, wootwoot.

I'll be getting it later today after being done with my chores >_>. From what I've heard Fable 2 is everything he promised for the first but couldn't make true.

I think I'm going to pass on this one. Too many other games I need to get.

Such as:
Wii Music: Don't look at me that way. I want what I want.
Gears of War 2
Portal:Still Alive
World of Goo

Man I want this game, altough pre-ordered it, and have to get around to getting it, which in Sydney, is easier said then done. + It's my dad's birthday, so I get bonus marks for selfishness, and I've got work all day tommorrow and year 12 work to do in school.
Life is so much fun, I actually think I may go evil this time round.
The pure- evil character looks sooo cool, just like dracula.

Well I've been playing it for a few hours now and all I can say is that it feels just like the old Fable, which in this case is a good thing!

The fighting, the interaction, the people, the missions, it all feels like old times which is what a sequel should be IMO. Few things still bug me though, stuff like the scripted conversations. More effort would have been in place on both the scripting and the voice acting because a lot of the time it's rubbish, but somehow that's an industry standard for RPG games with vocals, no idea why :S.

Got it a couple of hours (more like five, time has been flying) back, got the collector's edition, and for some reason, I'm guessing due to the confusion with the price cut and the depression, it was the same price as the normal edition ($80 AU) which is mcuh cheaper than the usual ($100 AU) for normal games, but then again, everything is getting discounted these days, guess we have to make the most of this downfall.

Game's great, I love it! Haven't got far yet, just in oakfeild, and probably won't play agin untill next week, but yeah, basically what Havoc said, feels like a true sequel, ok, there isn't much of a weapon and clothes improvement in terms of quantity, altough there are a tonne of more ways to customise your hero, there's so many more layers added to the game, it realy is just so much more. I loved the combat from fable 1, sure it was unoriginal, but I loved it it was fun, now I love the combat from fable 2, it is inuitive, and it is simple, it was fun and I love it. Fable is all about simplicity it terms of accessibility, and a tonne of depth if you look hard enough. And it's all so fun.

I'm having trouble with getting live to my xbox (have to find a way to bridge the conncection, because my wireless is a USB, not sure how to do it), so I can't ge tthe LE content yet, but realy, I'm just lost in what's already there.

Not to many choices, but at least we have visable effects this time.

Can't wait to play some more.

The same thing happened to me.

Well, I preordered the normal edition, and they gave me the special edition when I went to pick it up. I proceeded to leave as soon as possible with my prize.

I fucking hate the cutscenes in this one. I shouldn't have to continuously hold the left trigger to see what the fuck is going on. Fable 1 style cutscenes plz.

Yeah I agree. I mean, ok, we get to walk around and get a nice angle, but I'm sure some dev is perfectly capable of deciding which is the best angle and sticking it into the cutscene, or at least make the bumpers sticky.
Hmm, realy hoping there is DLC with added weapons, clothes and mosters all in one, because, even though I haven't got far, that seems to be the majority of the complaints. Sure, Mr M may want to do something inivative, but just slap all of that together and give it to us for some ridicliously cheap price (i.e. free) and I'm sure that counts as inivative.

I think I've already injected way too much time in it (over 15 hours in less then 2 days) especially considering I have a test at uni on Monday

Yeah me too, and those jobs just let the time fly buy.
So, just a general question for those who have it, what kind of hero are you?
I'm good at the moment, going to expertise in melee and everything that supports that, which means slow time and force push at the moment.
I look pretty average at the moment, if not a little beefy. I'll post a picture when I can.

You don't seem to change as quickly in the first game, which may be for the better, altough I'd imagine it'd be much easier to be evil and see the differance in your morphs. Just waiting for the next choice I guess, killing monsters doesn't seem to get you good points, I'm not sure.

Yea time just flies in this game, unreal. I started a session at 11 last night and by the time I looked at the clock it was 2 AM .

Anyway I'm a female Will user, good hero. I made her all good looking like but then I ate some pies and she turned into some huge walking blob XD. But then I ate some vegies and now she's back to normal. Kid's are running all around me all the time for my autograph -_-.

Also I can't make sense of the magic level system. Right now I have inferno on level one, force push on level two and Chaos on level three. How do I get a level three inferno??

It might be that you can't master some on your particular alignment, like in the first game. Or perhaps some levels only become available when other conditions have been met.

Have kids! I want to know what its like to play a character in a videogame who suddenly gets preggers directly due to your own actions. Surely that's a videogame first?

Finished the main quest a couple of hours ago... this game is way too short...
Luckily there still stuff to do when you finished the main story.

kind of annoying. I'd prefer a minimap instead of something that constantly makes you dig up rusty necklaces.

That they sink a not-inconsiderable fortune into the development of an exquisitely realised and rendered environment only to find that players spend most of their time gazing at a tiny two-dimensional bitmap in the corner of the screen.

Experts believe that this tends to detract from the immersion somewhat.

The dog constantly barking is annoying, sometimes I wish I could give it a good kick, but then afterwards I forgive it and wonder why I dare think such a thing. I guess you just have to ignore it, and keep running, or get it hurt and run off, I did that once by accident, I forgot about it, and it arrived when I was shopping in bowerstone and I was like "oops".

Don't realy care about my family, but I may later, I usually get pretty immersed.

As long as this game's considerable longer than the first, I'll be happy, since I spent aaaages doing non quest stuff like collecting and just exploring in the original, I the potential to do that now seems so much more. Hopefully we'll get some more quests in the DLC.

Exploring doesn't seem to be that rewarding, as I'm in the early stages of the game, but still, going out of my way to visit places like that gem cave should give something more decent, is the loot random or leveled? And maybe it would have been better to have less loot, but have what's there more unique, I mean, as Leto said, the amount of rusty necklaces is ridiclious.
