It sure does! Can't wait to have a more portable New 'n' Tasty on my laptop and my iMac. I will be doing some speedruns on Twitch when I get my hands on it.

Everyone complained about the colour scheme, so naturally it follows to take out the Glukkon head... ?

EDIT: I approve of Abe's shinier eyes. So emotive

There's actually already an emulator out on PC that scales down the PS4 version of New 'n' Tasty and makes it feel more like the original. I think you can find it on Steam, it's called Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee or something like that.

I bet Manco feels like a right idiot, now. I bet he feels really super dumb. God he must feel so bloody moronic.

I still think Monsaic Lines looks the best. Regardless of any complaints about bloom or Rupture Farms being more sci-fi or whatever Monsaic Lines still outdoes the original in every respect.

Strangely enough, after playing the PS4 version, my favourite levels were the ones I like least in the original, and vice versa. The Monsaic lines are stunning with so much more depth, as are the temples! However, I still prefer the original Scrabania/Paramonia and Free Fire Zone. Perhaps I'm just more critical of the areas that were my favourites from before? Great game either way

The logo is PERFECT now. I feel glad the head is gone.

The screenshots are okay, for a port. My only complaint is:

I don't have a "USE" key on my keyboard, and I'm guessing it showed a gamepad key instead in the PS4 version.

It was probably a hassle to make those messages display whatever custom keyboard or controller setup someone uses.

Plenty of other games seem to manage it. I hope it at least swaps in gamepad buttons.

Without consulting the pause menu, please tell me which button is [USE].

I believe the idea is that, if you look at the control configuration, the menus will tell you which key is the "Use" key.

EDIT: Honestly most video games I've played on PC, where the instructions are tied into the art, use this method. It's a little annoying having to consult the pause menu but whatever. If it's too much of a hassle with the LED screens I won't cry about it.

The Action Key or any other button could be literally anything on the keyboard. So I guess setting the LED screens all up to work with whichever button is binded would be hard to set up.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure people aren't going to freakout about it once they realized what the button actually is. And to be honest, I doubt many people would read the LED boards anyway.

Also this reminds me when game tutorials used to say "press the jump button" or "Press the action key"

Aren't we still there? I mean I just recently played the Vanishing of Ethan Carter and it had that. And the Binding of Isaac Rebirth doesn't tell you the controls like the original did.

On the topic of the screenshots, does the game actually look better on PC? I can't tell on account of it being sooooooooo looooooooooooooooooong ago since I played it on PS4.

It's not that we need to be spoonfed controls, but saying "press the use key!" is kind of redundant when it shouldn't really be much work to add in a key name.

(Quoting Phylum, but replying to everyone)

This is speculation, but my guess is that if you're using keyboard controls it'll actually show whichever key has been bound to 'Use', but that screenshot shows what happens when you use a controller. There are so many controllers in so many different configurations, and they can be set up in so many different ways, that it'd be impossible for JAW to list the precise label printed on the button.

Also, those screenshots look great. I might need to buy some sunglasses before playing it, though.
