Exclamation Taking Commissions!

Hello everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently taking art commissions cuz I'm in need of some money (who isn't :P).
I do sketches, inking, coloring, backgrounds. Basicly everything that has to do with digital artwork. That includes websites designs, signatures or whatever.

Visit the TigNeor.com Website for a pricelist and a portfolio of current works.

Any questions can ofcourse be asked here or mailed to the adress displayed on the website.

Greets,

Havoc

Bit of advice for you.

Don't start out by saying what you CAN'T do. A lot of people are notoriously finicky about commissions to start with (they want free art, yaknow? *eyerolls*) and saying you're only good at x will make a person say "huh, well, I'll find a more experienced artist that can do more styles, then!" Say you SPECIALISE in cartoon big cats by all means, and that you're a capable colourist etc, but don't sell yourself short in your first paragraph. It's all about self-promotion, see? Say what you CAN do, not what you CAN'T; plug your galleries, your portfolio, show some sketches as well as finalised works... Get a person's opinion on a sketch if it's something you've not drawn before and you're worried about how it's turning out (but keep it small, some people will say "ooh yeah lemme see!" then pinch the drawing and never pay you), but don't limit yourself by saying you are ONLY prepared to draw cartoon big cats.

(On a related note, while you don't have anything else to draw, challenge yourself. Different styles, different media, differenct creatures, still-lifes etc...).

And saying "I draw Lion King styled big cats" is the quickest way to get the Disney Corporation to come down on your head like a bucket of bricks. (I heard they're even getting more picky about fanart - must be all the bad Lion-King-unbirthing-scat-anal-vore out there. *twitches*.) And DON'T say you'll draw something owned by Disney for someone if you're going to ask for money from it. You don't want a lawsuit in your lap. Since you'd be making money off something THEY own the copyrights to - . Nothing wrong with ACTUALLY drawing things in a similar cartoony style, just don't promote it as such.

(As a by-the-by, if a person can draw this AND GET PAID FOR IT (at least, it's in their commissions directory) I don't think you have too much to worry about.)

You're welcome. Always happy to help a fellow starving artist.
