What's With Your Avatar?

So this is an idea for a thread I had. It seems most of you have interesting-looking avatars. Care to explain the story behind them? What they are? I have a feeling there might be some good ones.

Mine's obviously Haruhi Suzumiya but I'm thinking about changing it. I'll get around to it later maybe.

Mine is a meme that somehow found its way into OWF one fateful day and it had infected everything on the forum. Everything. I'm sure MM could fill you in better on what happened.

I went inactive like right after the whole ordeal had finished and when I logged on again roughly 2 years later my avatar was one of the first things that was pointed out and I've just been way too fucking lazy to go find a better one.

Mine was just one of the default options when I signed up, and I always liked the rock art paintings. I've only ever changed it (temporarily) three times; when a whole bunch of mods impersonated Alcar, when the MLP craze was going around and I converted my shrieking Elum in to a shrieking pony, and when I set it to the same avatar, but as a GIF that flipped occassionally.
