Well, you have to make what you think is good enought for a Signature in paint, or photoshop, or anything that makes and saves pictures. Then you must put in on a website or upload it from your PC, but i have found out that when you upload it, it usually comes from your own computer (don't laugh just yet.) and many people can't see it from there computer because the file that you copied into the little box thingy is from your computer, and on other peoples computers they don't have that file. I got my pic by putting it on a website and copying the url into your 'edit signature' thiny after putting < img src="website adress here" >. remember
(no space between the "<" and the "img")
to put the quotation marks (") before and after the website adress. If this doen't help, and is confusing, then my work here is done. If you actually understand it, then good for you

No I dont understand the URL poo poo and "<>"IMG jgjfgjdfkgjf crap. but i get the upload bit.

P.S. I dont have photoshop and paint sucks doot.

without paint or some photo editing software you have to use an already created sig then like a picture from a website you feel is the closest thing to a sig you want. Or do what I did for my awsome sig. WOLVES ROCK YOUR HOUSE!! I should know, I am the one who works at the wildlife preservation with them (and foxes). Know that I am done with that thats all I had to say.

P.S. Faol is wolf in Irish Gaelic, and they worshipped wolves. Why am I telling you this...I wish I could tell you why

It is hard to understand the '"<>"ghdgkshgh img' crap, but once you understand it you can make heaps o' good stuffs to go in your sig, even though by what i know you're only allowed to have one picture in your sig -.-

You can always try uploading at Photobucket, just copy and paste the code from there.

As for the creating of banners, try looking around for Signature Request threads. People used to make them for fellow members.

It's called HTML. I think that's what you're talking about. You use it to create websites.

To everyone that wanted the signature rules...

:

These forums allow the use of a signature, however there is a set of rules that must be complied to when using a signature.

* Concerning signatures with an image: There is a limit of one image per signature including smilies.
* The dimensions of the image must not exceed 400 pixels in width, and 125 pixels in height.
* The image itself must not exceed 35 kilobytes (35840 bytes).
* The image cannot be hosted as an attachment on the Oddworld Forums.
* There is a maximum of four lines of text.

* Concerning signatures without an image: There is a maximum of six lines of text.

Yeah you can keep 5 lines. As long as you don't have an image, then you'll have the have 4.

You're not very good at listening are you, E'l Scrabino? You've got 8 lines of text in your signature. You may only have 5 lines of actual text but the empty lines count too.
