Aww! Thanks everyone for all the friendly welcomes; they make me feel all warm and fuzzy. I'm really glad I've joined, and finally being able to talk to you all is really nice. I wouldn't say I've "passed judgement" on the frequenters" yet as in I already have people that I don't like. I really think not liking someone would be extremely unfair if I've never even had a conversation with him or her. However, I do mostly like everyone here that has welcomed me so far, including you, Oddguy, since you asked.
It seems that I have arrived in the middle of a spam/rules type war. (Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but still.) So many good members are leaving that I wanted to meet. I really hope this whole thing ends soon because it's getting ridiculous. The "crack down on the rules" or whatever reminds me of something an evil school principal would say. On the other hand, rules are here for a reason, and they've protected this forum from spooky spam and such. People who don't spam shouldn't have a problem with it, but I do think the moderators should realize it's time to loosen up a bit when some of your best members are starting to leave. Anyway, everyone, just get along dammit! :P
