Something that has bothered me for a while...

I'm not sure whether I put this here, in OD, or the glitch topic, but if it's in the wrong place I apologize.

Anyway for a long time I remember there was this one screen in Abe's Odyssey. I don't know if it can be accessed by normal means or if you have to hack to get to it. Hell I don't even know if it exists, the image has always just stayed in my mind, I remember seeing it when I was a lot younger.

It's this screen, that takes place AFTER you fall off the stockyard cliffs and see pyramid head for the first time, but BEFORE you go in into the temples. It's just this place with no way out, the moon is shining in the background, and you bassically on this big platform that reaches these cliffs that are present on each side. I'm not sure if you can get out or not, I don't remember.

Does anyone know if such a screen exists? This is in AO, and if it does exist, can anyone tell me how to access it? It would be really neat just to see again for me.

pyramid head.
Pyramid Head is a creature from the Silent Hill series, I just had to point this out.

This doesn’t ring any bell at all. Nor does it make much sense. Where did you see this screen? It’s not in the game, and we’ve extracted all the screens that are. Try browsing TOGG’s screenshot archive to see if anything looks similar to what you remember.

It's not the bit where you jump off the cliff and fall down, is it?

That's the one. It gets you to the CG where Abe "dies". Oh right and I meant big face. I've watched the silent hill movie one to many times =p.

I know of several such screens, but none that appear in that transition. Sounds like a glitch.

So have we solved this mystery? I’m still not sure. The only thing that occurs after meeting Big Face but before entering the temples are Monsaic Lines, Paramonia, and Scrabania, but the only moons are visible in the Free‐Fire Zone.

Hmm, if that's the case then I must have dreamed it when I was young or something. I dunno, I wish I could pull the image out of my mind and post it here. That would help out a lot XD. Still if anyone knows of such a screen please PM me .

I honestly think this can be close now.

I don’t. Threads are only closed when they are abused and encourage too much forbidden behaviour, or when members post in what is viewed by the mods as a dead thread (usually when an institutionalized topic, e.g. Q&A, has been made a newer edition).

YAYAYAYAYA

That's it! Although I'm not sure if this is a normal screen since I haven't played AO for more than a year. Can anyone answer me that, because it has the EXACT same moon shape (Although more aligned to the middle) and it didn't have that hole in the left of the screen.

That's the entrance to a secret area in Stockyard Escape. There is a mine on the edge of the left edge. There is a screen to the left with the bird portal to the secret, and a grumpy slog. You have to negotiate these two screens, the mine and the slog to open the portal and get through it.

He might be thinking of a screen in the Stockyards return also; those ones are subtly different.

In the screen posted by Friendly Slig we can see the Moon but from another place of the Stockyards, probably it was farther: in fact, when the "Abe's moon" movie starts, Abe sees the same moon, but bigger than that in the screen.
