Compatibility

I have a windows XP and am wondering if Abe's Oddysee is too old to play on it. I down loaded the demo and it worked once but now i can't get it to start up again. When it work it was fine. Could the actual game work? Please help, Thanks.

The backwards compatibility feature in Windows hardly ever helps. But AO should work perfectly fine on XP.
